Empress Zingha is a passionate creator who is disrupting and innovating how the creative arts communicate and educate the community. As a highly respected cultural practitioner with over two decades of experience in the field, her work primarily focuses on exploring, preserving, and promoting cultural practices within the Afro Caribbean diaspora and traditions, fostering understanding and appreciation for diverse cultural expressions.

Empress Zingha holds a Master's degree in Creative Arts: Arts Entrepreneurship from the University of The West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados and has worked with various communities around the world to document and safeguard their unique customs, stories and rituals. Some of her work has been mounted in spaces such as Jamaica, Haiti, Fort Lauderdale, Finland, Trinidad and Tobago, England and Canada.

Her efforts have significantly contributed to the global discourse on cultural preservation and sustainability. Empress Zingha is also an esteemed speaker, performer, author and educator, sharing her insights and knowledge on cultural practices at various conferences, workshops, and academic institutions.
